We've got an amazing competition to blow the winter blues away. This time around you have a chance to win one of our favourite bikes from 2017 - the Fairlight Strael, now in its improved lighter 2.0 guise with Ultegra Disc worth £2600!
The original bike scored highly in our Bike of the Year Awards netting 2nd place in the Sportive & Endurance category and taking 9th in the overall Bike of the Year 2017-18. High praise indeed.
Now amazingly one of you lucky readers will get the chance to win the new updated 2.0 version. What’s new about it? Dom Thomas from Fairlight Cycles explains to our Dave all the updates on this handy first look video But to summarise it’s lighter, has thru axles, a new fork and new paint option. It retains the same custom tubeset, clearance for 32mm tyres and according to Dom the same fantastic ride, if not better.
Here are a few quotes from Stu Kerton who reviewed the Strael last year: “A truly stunning four-season machine with an infectious grin factor and amazing handling” and “Taking everything into account, the Strael is pretty hard to knock, especially for the non-racer. If you want a bike you can train on, bimble about on, credit card tour on, or just get out there and wring the neck of for a full-on blast around the lanes while enjoying each and every mile, the Fairlight ticks all of the boxes”
The bike has been so popular that Fairlight has actually sold out of the first 2 Early Bird deals they offered so this might be the only way you can get a hold of one when they arrive in April.
Here is the 2.0 Ultegra Disc Spec list for you to drool over:
The Strael 2.0 comes in the same Putty colour scheme as last year and new for 2018 a stunning Dark Grey option as seen in our first look video
