Oh dear, not football 'debate'.

You could argue that not functioning for a team that wins makes the achievement greater; if either of the Yates brothers dominated the TDF that'd be a greater achievement than Froomey.

You could therefore argue that Steve Cummings performances deserve an honorary mention...

Harry Kayne.....because Spurs won.....errrrrrr.

"Best award for an english footballer with a well kept beard who hasn't got into a fight outside a nightclub" maybe.

It is about time they change this to sportsman and sports woman.  Bugger all to do with personality (if so Hamilton would never win as he is a complete tool) and woman rarely get a look in despite amazing acheivements.....out of date, out of touch.

Awright, 'arry? See that ludicrous display last night? What was Wenger thinking, sending Walcott on that early? Fing about Arsenal is, they always try an' walk it in.

Won't he have to come to the UK to pick up the award?

Does he know where it is?

Apparently not, as Andy Murray can always be seen hanging around a swimming pool in Miami. I would love to see an analysis of how long Froome has ever spent in the UK though. At least Lewis Hamilton can be seen at the factory some times.

Yes, hanging around the factory smugly refusing to contribute to the country that he is apparently so proud to represent. He can do one.
