Earlier this morning, Facebook user Ash McEvoy warned cyclists using the East London cycle lane.

When the message was shared by Dr Morocho on Twitter, he received a response from London Dynaslow suggesting that this wasn’t even the first time this had happened this week.

Furthermore, on May 22 TenInchWheels reported finding tacks in the same location and pointed out that while there were tacks in the cycle lane, they hadn’t extended as far as the adjacent road.

I really question the sanity of the people that do this. Whichever group of traveller this person belongs to (motorist, pedestrian or public transport user), they’re shooting themselves in the foot as it will likely push cyclists back onto the road or further clogging up London’s already clogged public transport system.
