@ROOTminus1 Much the same comments were made chez Harris as we watched "as live" this evening, general consensus being it probably wasn't the shoes that caused the slip but a gust of wind catching the monstrous millinery.
This is an eBay sale for the complete wiring loom for a land rover, probably not an early mark
Yep, I'm not knocking the cycling infra, just the bloke on FB's assertion that it's for existing cyclists to use. It's the same mindset that sees the purpose of cycle lanes to get those pesky cyclists off the roads and out of the way.
@perce Did you see that article last week about tomatillos? They're GREEN for God's sake. I mean, WTF? Tomatillos.co.ok please!
Can someone nip in and change SurreyRider's password for us? Seriously, though, I wonder if these will be available in California any time soon. It would be on my shortlist.
The bit on Richard Carapaz’s shoes is not the point of interest in that snip. In this era of female cyclists being under scrutiny for how much padding is necessary for modesty, and Jan-Willem van Schip being banned from races for turning up, what in the actual seven hells is that POC helmet?
@mdavidford Again. Knowing THAT you must introduce practical changes does not mean telling one WHAT kind of changes those should be. But an epidemiological study absolutely can provide insights for others to follow up on - that's how modern science generally works.
Just terrible for his family. Deepest condolences to them and Iain's friends.
@mctrials23 100% These admissions in black and white should have consequences.
Good spot! I think this may be a good idea, although it sounds a bit "one at a time" which is unlikely to change the bigger picture I'd guess? Plus others have informed me that a) this isn't legally possible currently and b) just because it could be possible (with additional law changes though eg. we do regulate gun sales) it isn't a good idea. (Either because a few people might have legitimate uses and/or "it's easy to get round" - so apparently not worth the effort?)
