Video: Alberto Contador rides his bike round his home - while being chased by his dog

An early candidate for our favourite cycling video of 2017

We love cycling here at road.cc. Well, duh. Less obvious, though is that we love dogs, too. Most of us have at least one. So, while 2017 may be less than a week old, a video of Alberto Contador riding his bike round his home while being chased by his dog is going to be hard to beat as our favourite cycling video come the end of the year.

The Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta winner, who has joined Trek Segafredo from the now defunct Tinkoff team, posted the video to Instagram earlier today.

Given his comment that "This happens when you have a Trek Emonda and you cannot take it out for publicity issues," we're guessing it was filmed before 1 January and the official expiry of his contract with Tinkoff, which of course rode Specialized.

Enjoy.

Will await Sagan's version of this and wish I had a home big enough to ride around in.

I wish I had a house tidy enough to ride around in.   1

Road.cc : "An early candidate for our favourite cycling video of 2017"

Without a doubt, among the most stupid title/comment of Road.cc in 2017 so far !
