Mens pro racing will have a new date to watch with a brand new series, the International Team Challenge (ITC).
Held in Limburg, the Netherlands, a first three-day event will be held in June next year, followed by further meets in Switzerland in August and in South Africa in October, according to 1Limburg.
The first day will feature a sprint race on a circuit around the Sports Zone in Sittard-Geleen. The second day will see the riders climb the Cauberg in Valkenburg ten times, and the last day is the finale in the form of a team pursuit, again on and around the Sports Zone.
The event will be held on 2nd, 3rd and 4th June.
After an unpromising start, having to be bribed by her parents to learn to ride without stabilisers, Sarah became rather keener on cycling in her university years, and was eventually persuaded to upgrade to proper road cycling by the prospect of a shiny red Italian bike, which she promptly destroyed by trapping a pair of knickers in the rear derailleur. Sarah writes about about cycling every weekend on road.cc.
