Witness appeal as cyclist dies after Lincoln by-pass collision

Fatal crash took place in early hours of Sunday morning

A 37-year-old male cyclist has died following a collision with a Ford Focus car on the A46 Lincoln by-pass in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Lincolnshire Police say that the man, from Louth, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital following the incident which took place at around 2.15am on 1 November but was subsequently pronounced dead.

They have requested anyone who saw the victim riding his bike or walking with it beforehand to contact them on 01522 558855 or via the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 68 of 01/11/2105.
