Hackney is to attempt the world’s biggest ‘Bike Bus’ next month, with 900 cyclists signed up to take over the streets and make a new world record.
The annual Bike Around The Borough event for adults and children alike will follow a route around the area, picking up new participants as they go. A secret finish location will reveal the total number of participants and hopefully made a new record.
The highest number of people taking part in a bike bus was 880 in Australia last year.
Last year's "bike around the borough" broke a record of its own, when more than 500 children cycled in single-file around Hackney.
A bike bus must have riders four abreast on the road, and passengers can only join at designated ‘bus stops’ along the route.
Participants must also wear special record attempt clothing.

Perhaps You should point out that this is for children of school age, although you can apparently get your company to sponsor it.
