Isnt Lemond trying to rebuild his bike brand after Armstrong did his best to destroy it? I think we can give Greg a break on that one eh?
Im not a medical professional but im a little concerned by Greg's little cough. It could be a nervous tic but he should get that seen too.
I agree with a previous correspondent - he is awkward on the trivial but get him talking about racing and and tactics and he is cock on.
I love Bernabinos accent - yesterday when Talansky was coming he said 'I am getting chicken bumps!'
I think he meant goose bumps bless him.
Scratch what I said earlier, the number of shots they've given to the the LeMond bike in their random chat has put me right off, LeMond has blown it with his rampant commercialism...
I guess because the show is live, as opposed to nicely edited, it all seems a bit awkward.
LeMond is doing OK, I think. As expert on the subject at hand as it gets. He could, maybe, relax a bit.
His co-host Stefano Bernabino apparently speaks an impressive number of different languages, this comes in really handy when doing interviews. Bernabinos English is, however, annoyingly hard to follow. It's not just the pronunciation, it's the cadence as well.
The furniture used as a outdoor studio set is not good. What's that supposed to be, anyway?
I think it's great. I like the fact that Greg asks questions that aren't necessarily politically correct. It's not super slick but I find that quite refreshing.
Also you can't fault his knowledge of the sport or this particular race.
if I'm watching live I go with Carlton & Sean for commentary, then switch to ITV4 post finish for the analysis/punditry
I just can't get past Stefano's orange trousers; way TMI going on there, if you get my drift. Similar to white bibshorts in the wet
The astonishing thing is that they don't appear to have screen tested Greg (he is sooooooooo excruciatingly bad in front of the camera) and decided that they had to find someone else.
think Le Mond is crippled by nerves. When he's talking about racing his persona changes he is relaxed and engaged and interesting. When he's having to the gimmicky filler bits in between he's like a 5 year old with stage fright at the school xmas play...
Better than the two buffoons on ITV4 Liggett and Sherwin
Agreed......if Sherwin mentions Gallopin's 'big cycling family' in order to get to 'I rode with one of them on the La Redoute team' one more time I'll Gallop-In and throttle him.

+1
Its getting better as each stage passes, Lemond is spot on but i'm yet to be convinced by the other fella.
LeMond is amazing.
Seems a really nice fella and not up his own arse at all. Quite the opposite in fact.
Seems humble and self deprecating.
Mmm, can't say I'm enamoured of Stefano but I've got all the time in the world and then a little bit more for Lemond.
Bizarrely I have loved it.
Greg Lemond and Stefano Barabino should have their own sitcom. They're cycling's odd couple.
Actually, for a Tour champion GL is actually quite engagingly vulnerable. From the stuff I have seen he has not been bad. It's hardly any worse than James Richardson in the studio with Magnus 'I'm going to repeat everything you say' Backstedt. Nothing wrong with Richardson (a great and interesting journalist IMO) but Backstedt barely gave any interesting insight and always sounded like his sentences were based on how long he could talk before passing out.
You know, I'm not impressed with LeMond or the other guy, but I like Juan Antonio Flecha a lot! He seems at ease, engaging and excited about the interaction with the cyclists! And who doesn't like Laura Messeger?
Why are your CAPS ON?
Can't say i've been impressed with it.
Presumably they got a decent reduction on his fee with the product placement of one of his bikes.
I saw the first show and thought what a pair of idiots ....never seen it since
