spring classics

does a purist team count for all the classic races because, in the rankings most of the big hitters eg Cancellara, Sagen, Martin, Boonen and a few more seem to be missing ? Have I missed something somewhere down the line ? 102

I know this'll sound stupid, but, if I leave my teams untouched from one stage of the Classics competition to the other, I won't have to reenter the riders again if I just want to keep the same team of riders, right? Thanks!

Correct but unless each rider you pick is riding every race on the SC schedule then you are going to be at a disadvantage

Ok, thanks, just wanted to know if I could skip a race or two and still get points if I had some riders still in the game. Thanks!

I'm currently planning on exactly the same team for both! There's probably a reason why that's a really bad idea...

That sounds like my mate who put the same numbers on twice for the lottery, he decided that if he was going to win then winning twice was better 40

He's right. Tickets win prizes, not people. So if he had one ticket and he shared the jackpot with one other person who had one ticket then he'd get 50% of the jackpot, but by holding two tickets he'd get 66% of the jackpot.

Can work both ways, you get it right for a race with your standard team, yo would want the same for your purist. get it wrong for one right for the other, you will be thinking why did i not just put them as the same. Its a bigger dilemma if you want to do overall, currently 5th standard, 10th purist, as putting different teams means one will not do as well as the other and is always a bit of a kick in the teeth. However if you want to go for stage wins, and less about keeping up then go for two different teams.

In the form points scoring don't forget only your standard team is eligible, sot you want to get that one right, so if you wanna take risks for a stage win, id use your purist team

I think that there will be unlimited transfers between every single race, even for purists, so there will actually be no distinction between standard and purist in the classics competition - you essentially just get two teams. If I'm wrong, one of the guys that run the game will set us straight fairly shortly I'm sure.
