Never mind the winds causing havoc in the TDF, they have been hugely impressive on my commute for the last two days.
It has an effect on us all.
I have been in an aero, tuck position hammering a large gear with the wind in my favour; while on the same day sitting up because I was going nowhere fast.
I remember the winds between the Alps and the Juras and the air pressure which causes huge problems for the un-prepared cyclist. Whatever you call your wind, whether it be the Mistral or sweet Zephyr west wind from Botticelli; it effects all cyclists.
Get out there and ride, feel the resistence.
