@Rendel Harris the eyes - but not the bottoms.
@mdavidford You sound like Pete and Dud in The Art Gallery discussing Vernon Ward ("If he's done anything, Dud, he's done ducks") and how to assess whether his paintings were any good by the criterion of the eyes following you round the room: "You can only see one eye, Dud, but you get the impression that the other eye is craning round the beak to look at you."
Actually, it looks like they've got some kind of specially-adapted oversized duck pedals, unless that's some very serious mud caking.
@mdavidford Even more pedantically only the duck's heels seem to be in their cycling shoes. Maybe it is some new-fangled open webbed-toe cycling shoe to be used with what looks like an extra-high bottom bracket somewhere up the seat tube. Another oddity is that either all these bikes have very short cranks or they've been assembled incorrectly with both cranks facing in the same direction.
@bikeman01 Is that supposed to be funny? He's a black person so he must have come from Somalia and not have driven on roads before? Road.cc has remained, thankfully, almost completely free of the sort of moronic "just bants" racism that pollutes virtually every other online platform, can we keep it that way please?
@the infamous grouse I think the thing you're missing in all of this is that a robust defence is a requirement of securing a conviction in a legal system that aims to prevent false prosecutions as much as possible. Without defence counsel doing their jobs a conviction wouldn't be worth anything and we wouldn't be able to sit here confident that Richardson is a murderer asking how anyone could defend him in the first place.
Presumably because the brighter mode is using twice as much power.
"The council’s approval came after years of delays and debate concerning the lay-out of the shared route, due to heritage-based concerns...." Looks at picture showing part of park allocated to car parking and scratches head over heritage concerns As to pedestrian complaints I tend to classify pedestrians into two groups: People who genuinely walk to destinations and people who have temporarily had to get out of a vehicle
Meanwhile life-threatening driving has been officially decriminalised in Derbyshire. Times has been strangely silent on that one. Wonder why?
@Backladder I'm going to take a wild guess that this offence has not been enforced anywhere in the last five years. But also ... if there's a designated "play street" where motor vehicles aren't allowed, why the heck is the penalty only two points anyway!?
