If you’ve got a Shimano Di2 groupset you’ve probably attached the junction box underneath the stem using the supplied rubber strap, which while it works fine enough isn’t the most elegant solution. It also occupies space on your stem which can make fitting a computer a little more tricky.

RaceWare Direct, the small British company that specialises in 3D printed computer mounts, this week revealed a much neater solution into their ever-expanding range. It’s a steerer tube mount and simply replaces a spacer underneath the stem (unless you’ve ‘slammed’ your stem) and floats the Di2 junction box underneath the stem, removing the need for the rubber strap entirely.

They’re going to make it available in two versions, plastic and titanium, with the former weighing a claimed 2g. The plastic version, available in nine colours, will cost £15, the titanium one £40.

In other news, RaceWare have also produced a Garmin mount for Brompton bikes so if you’re a regular commuter who likes to Strava their commute, this is an option for you.
