Wish I still had it seeing the prices they fetch now, but I grew up riding a Burner. Red frame with yellow tyres and pads, gold brakes and the awful plastic saddle. When I finally outgrew it I got a Criterium 12 road bike, which I still have to this day, although it gets very little use (old 2x6 with downtube shifters and very skinny tyres is no fun to knees in their 40s, especially on UK roads these days)

I was cycling home, during the eclipse, and my route took me through Greenwich park. Yes there were a load of Lime bikes left partially blocking the road but the biggest issue for me was all the car drivers parking their vehicles wherever they wanted in the park. At the top of the main hill, blocking the roundabout (only the bollards stopped them going any further), along the paths, everywhere. I had to weave around them to get through. Half of them just sat, blocked in by other vehicles, in their cars watching the eclipse. What was the point in driving to the park for that?

Don't get this bike or Trek's thinking. It looks like a last gen Canyon Endurace. But while most brands are adding in frame storage, they've removed it. And a bike that already had 'endurance' geometry now has riser bars and not very well hidden cables.
