New for Yeti is the SB115. It builds upon the success of the SB100 by using an all-new linkage that bumps the travel up to 115mm which maintaining the bikes geometry. It’s designed for multi-day stage races with excellent pedalling efficiency but with extra downhill capability.

The new bike features a newly designed Switch Infinity, designed especially for frames with less travel. It has been turned 90° and is optimised for lighter weight and efficiency.

Across the line, Yeti has chosen a flat and high anti-squat curve at the beginning and mid-section of the travel, where pedalling mostly occurs. Thus creating an efficient pedalling platform in the pedalling zone.

There’s an inflection zone where the Switch link moves down, which drops the anti-squat drastically. At this point riders aren’t often pedalling so chain forces have less of an effect here, allowing the suspension to work more independently.

The 115mm of rear travel provided by a Fox DPS is paired with a Fox 34 which offers 130mm of travel at the front.

Along with the new linkage, the SB115 is kitted out with four-pot brakes, a Maxxis DHF 2.5″ up front and an Agressor 2.3″ in the rear make to compliment the new bikes aggressive intentions.

The SB115 features a 450.6mm reach (on a large frame) with a 67.6° head tube angle. The chainstays measure in at 436.7mm and the same large frame gets a 74° effective seat tube angle.
