Syncros has recognised that riders are constantly finding ways of shifting kit off of their bodies and onto their bikes. As such, the brand has released the new iS (integrated storage) concept. With this, all you’ll need is a tube to keep you rolling after even the worst of trailside mishaps.

Syncros’s new iS concept comes in three different guises, each to suit three different riders but they’re each built around a bottle cage. First off, there’s the iS Cache which is intended for XC and gravel riders who want to carry the absolute essentials.

The iS Cache is integrated into Syncros’s ultra-lightweight version of the side entry bottle cage. While it is side entry only, there’s a flippable component that offers compatibility with left or right-handed operation. Added to the cage is an eight bit multitool made up of just the basics you’ll need to get rolling again, long with a chain tool. There’s also a mount for the brand’s mountain bike-specific mini-pump or a CO2 inflator.

For the mountain bikers, the iS Tailor Cage is built just for the trail. This one makes use of a bottle cage that has been rotated by 45° in order to give it a low profile, allowing it to fit into tighter frames. As with the iS Cache, this one is side entry but it can also be adapted for use with either hand. The iS Trailor then benefits from a 19-piece multitool and a mountain bike-specific high-volume mini pump.

Finally, one for any roadies out there, the iS Coupe Cage is a top entry cage that gets a 10-function multitool that’s hidden in behind where the bottle would be. The tool is finished with a specialised corrosion-resistant coating and the cage can be used with either a CO2 inflator or a high-pressure mini-pump.
