Forty years since it first hit the streets, Raleigh’s iconic Mk1 Tuff Burner BMX bike is back but in limited numbers. Eager to reignite the good vibes from the 80s BMX scene, Raleigh has worked with We Were Rad Collective – a group of BMX enthusiasts – to re-launch this little piece of history.

The new Tuff Burner is a near replica of that bike from decades ago; it has the same rad colour scheme comprising bright blue and yellow, the Cr-Mo steel frame rolls on Skyway Tuff 20-inch wheels, and it has a blue Aero saddle. The only difference is a tiny geometry change, which Raleigh has done to ensure “this remake rides like an absolute dream for its, let’s say ‘more experienced’ fans.”

The limited- edition Raleigh Mk1 Tuff Burner has now gone live for pre-orders – and you can secure yours for £600.
