Soon there will be a new cycling facility for riders of all ages and abilities right near the town centre of Bath, Somerset. The new Bath Bike Park, launched by Pedal Progression will feature 5km of singletrack trails, a pumptrack, a family cycling trail and some decent sized jumps.

Due to open in Spring 2022, the Pedal Progression team will have their work cut out for them sculpting and building the trails and features alongside  Architrail Velosolutions UK, well know trail builders. Built on the site of the old Entry Hill golf course, the bike park looks to be easy to get to, within two miles of Bath city center, opposite Odd Down circuit and near to the park and ride on the A367, the road that runs from the A303 in the south into Bath

On opening, Pedal Progression says the pay to enter bike park will offer plenty of gradient and a great place for riders to progress and learn as well as challenging the more experienced. There will also be a cafe and bike shop with profits enabling discounted or free access to projects and charities in an effort to create fair participation for all in the community.

As well as all the cycling trails there will also be multipurpose trails for dog walkers, runners and things like a community garden and picnic area, allowing the site to be used by a multitude of people, as it is now.
