We’re hitting sales season again, as numerous brands and retailers announce their summer sales. We’ve found some of the top deals on the web on mountain bikes, gravel bikes, e-mtbs and city bikes, with some very impressive savings across the board. We’ll start with an almost-too-good-to-be-true gravel bike deal if you’re after a mega bargain, but we’re hitting all price ranges if you’re after something more high-end…

Get the Calibre Lost Lad gravel bike (size L) for the crazy price of £349 with a Go Outdoors membership card

If you can work with a large frame and have a Go Outdoors membership card (just a fiver for the year) you can take advantage of this crazy deal from the retailer on its Lost Lad gravel bike.

Just £349 gets you a full bike with a 6061 aluminium frame, 16-speed Shimano Claris groupset and WTB Horizon tan wall tyres, plus mechanical disc brakes for easy maintenance. Even the £600 RPP is a steal, but at the £349 price you can be a lost lad (or lass) with some change in your back pocket for treats while you try to find your way back home…

While we’ve never reviewed this bike (we might get one if there are any left after this article goes live, though) we have spoken highly of Calibre bikes before, awarding the budget Bossnut full-sus hardtail full marks for being “the best value bike out there”.

There’s very little compromise on this enduro rig, that features an IFS 6 bar linkage rear suspension, Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain and a modern, slack geometry with plenty of reach. 29″ x x2.60″ tyres will see you through the roughest of off-road terrain, ready to tear up the trails.

Moving right to the other end of the price point scale (save for the healthy discount on the RRP) the top-of-the-range Trek Slash+ 9.9 is now down to £7,699 at Wheelebase, a huge saving of £3,300 over the original price. You could buy a lot of Calibre Lost Lads for that!

This e-mtb takes the high pivot, enduro-fuelled goodness of the regular, leg-powered Slash and equips it with a TQ HPR50 motor and a 580Wh battery. Running a RockShox ZEB Ultimate with 170mm of travel paired with a Vivid Ultimate shock, this build of the Slash+ brings wireless shifting from SRAM and the XO AXS T-Type drivetrain. A pair of SRAM Maven brakes slow things down while the OCLV carbon fibre frame does what it can to drop some grams.

Wheelbase only have size large left, but you can still save £2,000 direct on the Trek website if you’re after another size.

Speaking of TQ-equipped e-mountain bikes, it comes as no surprise that Trek’s Fuel EXe is hitting the sales. Now replaced with the updated Fuel+, this build of the Fuel EXe benefits from some big savings, the best discounts currently available at Blazing Bikes.

For £3,495, you get an alloy frame, a TQ HPR50 motor, and a 360Wh battery. The build is a little more basic with a Fox Rhythm 36 fork and Performance Float X shock, but it’s all kit that works rather well. The bike runs a Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain with Shimano M6100/M6120 brakes. This is a 29er, too, and expect a medium frame to weigh a respectable 20.2 kilos.
