Jens Voigt stops off at Trek Store Coventry next week

Store opens on Saturday, Jens to pop in on Wednesday afternoon

Jens Voigt, who recently signed a one-year extension to his contract with RadioShack Nissan, is heading to the West Midlands next week and will be visiting the new Trek Bicycle Coventry store on the afternoon of Wednesday 26 September.

The store opens this coming Saturday and according to its Facebook page, Voigt, who celebrated his 41st birthday earlier this week, “will be arriving during the afternoon and will be on hand for photographs, signing and the legendary Jens wit. We will have a special offer of 10% off Radioshack Nissan Trek teamwear.

The following day, he’ll also be attending The Cycle Show at Birmingham’s NEC – sadly for his many fans over here, though, that’s the trade day, with the show not opening to the public until Friday 27.

The German meanwhile is continuing to add to his legend on the road – last month, he won a stage of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge after a solo attack through the wind, rain and mountains from nearly 150km out.

Trek Bicycle Coventry is located within the new Leekes home department store in the Gallagher Business Park, close to junction 3 of the M6 motorway next to the Ricoh Arena.

Whatever you do, don't ask him, if he has read Hamilton's book!
