Early heads-up fixie fans for a UK-first criterium-style but fixed-gear race called The Hunt at West London's Hillingdon circuit on Sunday 6th May 2012.

No registration site details yet at which point it will appear on the road.cc What's On, meanwhile early information stands at:

One Race | 45 Minutes + 5 Laps | Brakeless Fixed Gear Only
Prizes to be won, including frames, entry into the next Red Hook Race and cash.
Racer registration date TBC | 65 Racers maximum | £20 Entry

Oh yes, and we'll be there too supporting the event… some of us might even be racing, look out for a road.cc jersey strategically placed in the pack in upcoming versions of the poster.

Title sponsors are Toyko Fixed and Chipotle so you can be sure there will be prizes in fine Japanese track hardware and South-Western foodstuff. And we don't mean from Taunton.

I can barely manage my single speed with breaks and free wheel... this will be tough for the riders.

Can't help feeling he'll more likely be wearing a Rapha, Morvelo, Tokyo Fixed, or even road.cc one seeing as they're all sponsoring the event… maybe he'll change jersey each lap 3
