Intelligence Squared logo.jpgDebating forum Intelligence Squared hosts Cycling Festival next month
Intelligence Squared – or, as they put it, Intelligence² - which bills itself as “the world’s premier debating forum” and whose past speakers include Richard Dawkins, Damien Hirst and Stephen Fry, will be holding a Cycling Festival on the evening of Thursday 8 September.
Chaired by hotelier and cycling enthusiast Rocco Forte, the evening brings together Bella Bathurst, author of The Bicycle Book, novelist, Geoff Dyer, London School of Cycling founder Patrick Field, writer Will Self and, someone who needs no introduction to fans of cycling, Graeme Obree.
Tickets for the event, at the Royal Geographical Society on Kensington Road, cost £15 or £10 for students. Full details of the event, which starts at 6.45pm and finishes at 8.30pm, can be found on the Intelligence Squared website, which will also be streaming the event for free on the evening itself.
