Car crashes into building - please post your Local news stories
Running this one up the flagpole to see who salutes...
I just don't remember this being a thing until recently, now it seems a daily occurrence.
Could it be that there are drivers not up to the job, too many cars; should houses be made to ride in single file, shops put on high viz, why are we putting newer buildings in danger like this, it's irresponsible.

'A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "Dorset Police was called at 12.48pm on Thursday, August 13, to a report of a collision involving a car and a wall outside Iceland on Poole Road in Bournemouth.
"It is reported that the vehicle was also in collision with a pedestrian, but they did not require medical treatment." '

Police officers were called to Fisher Close at around 5.30pm on Monday, October 7, with Cambridgeshire Constabulary stating the car involved was a silver BMW 3 series. 3 cars crashed and at least one caught fire under a railway bridge on the A4126 Spring Road in Wolverhampton at 11.15am today. Although the article doesn't say as much, it looks like at least one car crashed into the bridge [street view].
Trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham have been cancelled and a bus replacement service between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury. National Rail are warning of problems until at least 5pm.

Edit to add (Sunday): at 1.50pm on Saturday Police and Fire Service were called to Griffins Wood Close in Lightmoor, Telford where a car had reversed into a house. "Inspection carried out and advice given to occupier" but no word on whether the fuckwit driver was charged.

My takeaway from this is that he needs a better brief. This is the sort of sentence that someone should get when they use their car as a weapon but we all know that it doesn't happen. If he hadn't admitted it, I think he probably could have got away with a one year ban (for drink driving) and a suspended sentence (for careless driving).
