The British UCI Continental pro team Vitus Pro Cycling have unveiled their weapon of choice for 2019, the ZX-1 Aero Disc Road.

Review: Vitus ZX1 CRi Aero Disc Ultegra Di2
The bike was introduced as a disc-only platform in 2018, and that's continued on the new model with Sram's HRD brakes and 160mm front 140mm rear rotor combination. “Our experience from countless hours of rider testing and feedback is that discs give the rider far greater braking control in all conditions, giving riders more time to focus on road positioning rather than worrying about braking performance”, says the Vitus Road Product Manager Jodie Shan.
The custom paint job on the 2019 team edition bike has been given some bolder colours, with the previous version being mostly black. It's almost completely clean save for the two brake cables at the front, with Sram's wireless eTap groupset helping to tidy things up further. Vitus say the frame design is aero-inspired, but has a geometry that is still comfortable enough for long days in the saddle.
That said, whoever is riding this particular bike isn't intending on hanging about with what looks like some serious slamming going on with the Prime Doyenne stem and Prime Primavera carbon bars combo.
Prime are an in-house component brand exclusive to Chain Reaction Cycles, and also provide their Black Edition 50mm deep carbon wheels for this build. Interestingly they've opted to use Schwalbe Pro One Evo MicroSkin tubeless tyres.
The pro continental team, which includes former British hill climb champion Adam Kenway in their 12-man roster, will be riding the custom builds through the 2019 season.
Don't worry, I'm sure another company will be along in a minute to beat it
What an odd article, just an advert for the law firm: is this the same 'Martin' who then campaigned for cyclists to wear helmets?

I agree - I bet the guard doesn't get paid hugely so a gesture to show appreciation would probably go a long way....

Disappointing to hear that....
I would dream of my non-assisted bicycle to have such low weight. It is a bicycle to drool over but this Urtopia bicycle must utopic price.
