The article fails to mention that the biggest Cycling Without Age project in the UK is in London, managed by Time & Talents in Rotherithe and facilitated by Cargobike Life
Fantastic, as a volunteer for Age UK I often chat to the oldies about their past and pretty much down to a man/woman they all rode bikes. Let's hope that the elf n safety nutters don't get a twitchy bum and stick their oars in!
A pal of mine has MS and we're trying to figure out a way of getting a few miles round the country lanes near his care home (without having to splash loads of cash) hopefully with a few fast runs where conditions allow. As he's an ex-copper with the MET I might have to be a bit cautious as I don't want to get dobbed in for Wanton and 'spurious' driving/riding ...
