Great cycling deals on Altura, GT & Timbuk2

If you're after some top notch cycling deals, you've come to the right place...

For a Friday night treat the DealCatcher's had a whip around the internet for a few cycling deals to see you into the weekend.

Starting over at Wiggle he's found a deal on GT's cyclocross-focussed Grade AL X. The only catch is you've gotta be a big fella to get involved, it's only available in XL.

Hargroves Cycles has a wonderful offer on Altura's excellent Airstream jersey.

And finally, the deal doctors over at Cycle Surgery have Timbuk2 messenger bags at 42% discounts.

Wiggle

35% off GT's 2016 Grade AL X - XL
WAS £1499.99 | NOW £974.99

First up is GT's Grade AL X.

This is a cyclocross-themed version of the GT Grade Alloy Tiagra which we reviewed a couple of summers back.

SRAM's Rival hydraullic disc brakes and a SRAM 1x11 drive train will get you moving.

The only catch, sadly, is it's only available in XL.

Hargroves Cycles

30% off Altura Airstream LS Jersey
WAS £44.99 | NOW £31.49

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, long sleeves aren't on their way out yet, and probably won't ever be all the way out in the UK.

So, why not check out Altura's excellent Airstream jersey? At this price it'd be criminal not to.

We've got a lot of time for Altura's long sleeve jerseys here. The Peloton Jersey rolled away with a road.cc 9/10 review.

This one's got a little more aerodynamism going for it, so who knows how it would performe here...

Cycle Surgery

42% off Timbuk2's Classic Messenger Bag
WAS £69.00 | NOW £40.00

Finally, if you're a commuter, or if you regularly finding yourself in need of some extra carry space, Timbuk2's bags are wonderful options.

This one's a messenger bag, but the Q Backpack we had on review smashed it.

If this one's anything like it's 9/10-rated brother, you're in for an absolute bargain!

I got a custom large timbuk2 about 7 or 8 years back, needed something that would carry a 17inch laptop easily.  Looking a little tatty now but still hauling huge amonts of stuff every day.  Just a little more expensive than the one above, but worth every cent.

The wax cotten dee-dog it replaced was just a little bit small for what I needed.  A better built bag,  but the newer one has many more cubby holes.  Probably buy a new one sometimes soon.  Really cannot recommend them enough.

I paid £40 (half price) for a similar (but plain black) Timbuk2 briefcase type bag nine years ago. It's been excellent in virtually everyday use since.

My Timbuk2 rucksack is built like a brick outhouse, but only downside is it's not resistant to rabbit teeth, but only got it for £20 so it's not that bad.
