The Oneten Women's Long Sleeve base layer is an example of form and function in perfect harmony. Its body-hugging fit manages to be fairly flattering, helped by the contrast stitching on the seams, and it does a great job of keeping you warm and dry thanks to the wicking properties of the fabric.
The material is very lightweight, with no restriction whatsoever, and feels gossamer-soft against your skin. All the seams are flatlocked so there's no chafing, and mesh inserts beneath the armpits aid ventilation. Despite the fineness of the fabric, it is surprising how much warmth it gives you. It's designed to be worn under a jersey or jacket but works and looks fine worn standalone if the temperature rises.
The cut is very good. The sleeves are nice and long and the body is a decent length too, slightly longer at the rear to give good coverage over your lower back when riding.
As with all synthetic base layers it needs washing after one wear, unlike Merino wool tops which don't get smelly so quickly, but this is no hardship and it dries in no time.
A fantastic, simple but effective base layer.

I'm confused. What base layer isn't damp after a warm effort - it's the purpose of their entire existence. Wringing wet I might agree with. ...
