Route takes in gravel, bridleways and farm tracks
So they're sticking to the roads then? Beggar bush lane is becoming more farm track every day with the building site traffic
I rarely go along there, but my wife swears that even driving a car along beggar bush lane can be pretty hairy now.
The building site - turning that hotel site into a "not at all convenient for local amenities " retirement village - seems to be dropping all of their excavated mud along the road instead of taking it away for disposal (very great escape? Or was it colditz, where they scattered soil from their trousers...).
Shame it's the same day as Battle in the Bowl: http://www.cxsportive.com/battle-in-the-bowl-super-cx/
More so, a shame that I'm meant to be at a wedding that day
