ONE Pro Cycling to take over London bar for Tour of Britain finale

ONE Pro Cycling are to mark a successful debut year by taking over Tiger Tiger in Haymarket in London for the final stage of the Tour of Britain. The venue – which the riders will pass during the race – will be transformed into ONE Pro Cycling House for the day.

ONE Pro Cycling was set up by ex-England cricketer, Matt Prior, and has been racing at UCI Continental level this year. After finishing second in the UK Tour series, the team has now applied for a UCI Pro-Continental licence with a long-term plan to compete in Grand Tours.

On Sunday September 13, the team will take over Tiger Tiger for the day with fans invited to join them. The final stage of the Tour of Britain will be shown on TV and there will obviously be the opportunity to pop outside to sample the atmosphere when the race passes by as well.

The ONE Pro Tour of Britain team will be turning up for a drink after the race, but other special guests have also been promised. As you might imagine with Prior’s involvement, at least one of those will be a cricketer. Stuart Broad, who recently helped England win the Ashes with a man of the match performance in the fourth Test, has been confirmed as one who will be in attendance.

On top of that, there will be food, drinks, competitions, giveaways and a special area for One Pro Cycling members. There’s also a VIP package giving access to the second floor Cloud Lounge which overlooks the course. See here for further information.
