Cervélo TestTeam film goes behind the scenes at Tour de France

ProTour Team Cervélo TestTeam has released the first in a series of online films that promise to let fans experience the Tour de France from an insider’s perspective.

The High Definition video is the eighth episode in a documentary series called Beyond The Peloton that focuses on the ProTour team’s first season, with film makers Joe Finkleman and Booker Sim enjoying all-areas access to “show you what race footage fails to capture”.

Focusing on the riders while they are off the bike and the team management and other back room staff rather than the racing itself, the film provides a compelling fly-on-the-wall view of the day-to-day activities within a ProTour team competing in the sport’s flagship event.

Previous episodes in the series have focused on the team’s origins, the Tour of California, the Spring classics such as Milan-San Remo and Paris-Roubaix, and the Giro d’Italia. All can be viewed online, in a variety of resolutions, at the website www.bartape.net and there are also versions available that are optimised for the Apple iPhone.
