I had Barthe for stage 1&2,

I had Barthe for stage 1&2, but not for Stage 3.

Goes with my pick of Swift for the Stage 1 break.  He made it, but didn’t score a single point with the break swept up before the intermediate sprint.

    The danger of a Danish

The danger of a Danish translation of a Belgian newspaper column? I looked for confirmation elsewhere and couldn’t find it. Had already done my transfers so stuck with Ala. Did take on the Dennis misfire. Had a thought that Dumoulin was a good bet, but couldn’t fit him in.

    Costa pick worked.

Your Costa pick worked.  Schachmann finished in the bunch so maybe is OK.

Only change for me was Poels

Only change for me was Poels out Uran in.  We all might need a tansfer to remove Schachmann if he is sick.

Fuglsang (my success of yesterday) is Birdsong in Danish. I like that one too.  Porte sometimes comes out as Gates.

Many of us did that before

Many of us did that before Stage 2.  I doubt that he was in many teams today.

I did pick Kung, but he was

I did pick Kung, but he was in and out of my team as it was developed.

Thomas and Matthews were in ther too, so I didn’t get it all right.  The right balance between having 1st stage specialists, riders for Stage 2 and budget wasn’t as easy a equation as it sometimes can be.

I have kept Kung for today, that may be a mistake too.

So, I made one change. Minus 2 against doing nothing.

Sometimes having transfers muddle the mind.

Had a good day today.  I now

Had a good day today.  I now have 3 transfers burning a hole in my pocket.  If I use them I might well make my team worse, though I may regret not making a couple of possible improvments I have identified.

    Shouls have used them earlier.

    Him coming last all makes

Him coming last all makes sense, but didn’t see the comments about ‘bandaged up’ until he abandoned.

    Brought Mader in for today.

Brought Mader in for today.  That didn’t work.

    I had considered Bennett instead.
