I had a similar problem with a Cannondale crank. My front mech is a SRAM Red. It took a trip to the bike shop to get it right so there was just sufficient clearance and the mech worked well. The tolerance is actually quite small and I couldn’t get it right.
I have a Supersix not a Synapse, but the problem is the same. What mech are you using?

Nigel brings in irrelevant
Nigel brings in irrelevant subject.
No surprise there.
He is looking to have a discussion about something else other than dangerous driving.

There is a place in Edinburgh
There is a place in Edinburgh that does fitting for Lake shoes too.
Pat, where are you based? Worth a bit of effort and maybe money for shoes that fit.

That one won’t have got
That one won’t have got better. I dropped Matthews a stage too early.

An hour before the deadline
An hour before the deadline my team had Aranburu and Cerny. Then I thought I would be clever and save some transfers for later so compromised my team for today. That didn’t work out.
After the car crash I made of the beginning of the Tour of Poland I have lost my touch at the moment.

Transparent contribution
Transparent contribution again. Nigel used ‘proper riders’ to get a response.
It is the usual tactic of half refering to the subject followed by somethng to distract the thread.
It remains tiresome.

Exciting stage today, double Ventoux.
Got my team all wrong for the Alps, lets hope that I have thought today’s selection through a bit better.

There was talk last night
There was talk last night that they may go for Philipsen, but I wasn’t going to risk a transfer on the rumour.
Did bring in Bouhanni for Ewan so it wasn’t all bad.
And I didn’t mind giving away 5 points to those that kept Alaphillipe to see Cav win again. Always a story in the TdF.

While it is all moot, Ewan
While it is all moot, Ewan will be listed today as DNS. Presumably if he had made a Lazarus like recovery he could have continued.

I agree.

From the UCI Regs. Couldn’t find a statement about starting the next stage though. I suspect the Commissaires’ Panel will have discretion.
