I have used the Zwift ramp

I have used the Zwift ramp test as I head into each winter, but usually get a slightly higher FTP recorded from a Zwift race at some point

    Must be my competitive nature.

    Can’t answer your question

Can’t answer your question directly, but if you do decide to buy a new Turbo I noticed that Halfords have Elite trainers that would be perfect for your needs at 50% off.

I have a used an Elite Direto for many years on Zwift etc.  You wouldn’t have to shell out £450.

Is the Crono wheel on?  The direct drive trainers are much better.

I am definitely keen to continue.  Maybe one year I’ll close that gap to the very top players.

Used 5 of my 6 transfers, and
Used 5 of my 6 transfers, and I think they all worked out today. Could have been much more beneficial to have used then earlier in the race.

If I used the last it would have been McNulty for Vine and at the early checkpoint I was regretting not going for it.

One of those days where having plenty of transfers available was a curse. Sat on my hands today, I decided the mental pain of making bad decisions outweighed the pain of no decision.

Six transfers available for tomorrow, how many do I use to screw things up with.

    Eetvelt was second last

Eetvelt was second last yesterday after struggling the last two days.  I suspect he was sick.

    This might feel a bit

This might feel a bit patronising and if it is stuff you already know, please ignore.

I assume the wheels are original and the bike will have rim brakes? Depending on how much riding you have done I suspect the rims might be quite worn.  Check if the rims are concave.  If so, they are not worth repairing.  They do wear out and can be considered consumables, though depending on how much and the conditions you ride in the lifespan can be very different.

Buying new wheels for an old bike can be a great way to give it a lease of life, and sometimes a bit of an upgrade.

I think it will mean some

I think it will mean some harder racing going forward, with teams keen to put O’Connor and Decathlon under pressure.
