Did the forum have likes before?Yes – comments on forum posts used to be just the same as on main site articles.

I’m a regular commenter, displaying wit and insight, but I can’t login to make my pithy remarks. You’ve probably been banned – there’s no place for wit and insight among the regular commenters around here.

‘Buyers Guides’ and ‘Features’ panels aren’t displaying properly – the first is crammed over into the left half of the screen with a big empty space to the right, and the reverse for the second.

The ‘Reply’ link on forum comments is essentially pointless, as the resulting comments appear no differently to replies to the original post (no indenting or indication of what it was in reply to, and no ‘Threaded’ option on the sort).

‘Latest Forum Topics’ panel isn’t working right
– ‘Car crashes into building’ isn’t appearing, despite having more recent comments than two threads that are
– This thread, and the ‘Direct Mount Derailleurs?’ one show incorrectly as having no replies.February 10, 2026 at 3:04 pm in reply to: road.cc, off.road.cc and ebiketips website migrations – let us know about any issues you spot here #1195793

It’s not even necessarily just ‘the version I last saw’ – I’m occasionally getting versions of pages that are older (fewer comments or blog articles) than the last time I viewed it on the same device. Some deeply excessive caching going on somewhere.

On offroad.cc everything below the line is road.cc branded (e.g. light blue components everywhere).
[Not that I’m complaining – it’s functionally much nicer than the old offroad.cc BTL section, and if it means more integration of comments across the two sites I reckon that’s a good thing. Although a few people will inevitably complain about the purity of their site being contaminated. ;o) ]

In fact, forum comment sorting is always newest, because the sort functionality doesn’t work – it just reloads the page.

Forum comment sorting defaults to ‘Newest’, but after adding a comment it sends you to the last page of comments (i.e. the oldest comments), which is a bit odd/confusing.

Reply link on comments disappears once you get to the fourth level of replies (i.e. the original comment plus four other people all replying to each other).

(For the wishlist – what would be really nice is if replies not only showed who it was replying to, but had a link to jump to the replied to comment.)

Replies in comments are no longer showing which user they were replying to, which can make them hard to parse on busy comment sections.

Getting shown Review links in the sidebar that error when you click on them.
Looks like maybe it’s taking the review ID and trying to treat it as a page number in search results or something?
For example, ‘Fizik Performance cycling socks’ links to https://road.cc/?post_type=review&p=1192081 which gives a 404. -
