Probably not mate, summer is their biggest selling opportunity, they start to sell off their old stock once the next years bikes come in in the autumn.

I know it is very much not

I know it is very much not the same as those wonderful artisnal leather works of art, but I have kept my early 90s flite Tis going long after thy should really be thrown away by using the incredibly versitile black electrical tape.

    Never accept the first offer.

    Never accept the first offer.

Their entire world is built around the motor vehicle, which have defined prices for everything, there are television adverts for car buying websites.

Remenber to factor in the costs of all the mechanic time, and the costs of replacement brake and gear cables.

And every time your soliciter does anything it will cost them more.

They decided to take the money of the awful driver, I’m shocked how cheap it seems to be.

There is a gentleman in America who has decided to start making the excellent Ringle H2O design, but he reckons better.

And he’s on Ebay too.  Seperate hardware, but he does Ti.

    Purple sold out of course.

It holds the bottle in a tube, with no pokey in bit at the top,

For me this was the greatest mountain bike cage ever made, never lost a bottle no matter how rough the terrain.  Only thing about them was the Ali destroyed itself, but hopefully he’s solved that a bit.

Started buying them on ebay when you could get them for a fiver, the price kept going up so had to stop.

I will be buying a few of these.

At least the red bull ad I

At least the red bull ad I get features a bicycle, and doesn’t force me to watch it.  There are some that pop up in a tiny box , mostly at the bottom of the page that will not let me move the page away from it, so making the article and comments impossible to read.

I do not want to use an ad blocker as I realise that ads are the way this wonderful site gains enough revenue to operate.

For myself, I don’t see why

For myself, I don’t see why she is bothered about other people doing what they want, they are teenagers, they are not her children.  What they are not doing is hurting anyone else.  Be bothered about drivers on phones, drink drivers, speeding motorists.

I don’t care how anyone has

I don’t care how anyone has voted, though I do care about the result, but if you haven’t voted yet please go out and do it now if you are registered.  If nothing else deface your ballot, write something truely defamatory about the candidate you dislike the most, maybe a cartoon c**k and b***s, it might ammuse the counters later.  Democracy is cool!

No newspapers at work.  Grr.  Last place of employment, loads, home, loads, not at this place.  Tried awful paper towels, but very little effect.  Newspapered as soon as I got home.

Bits of me were soaking wet

Bits of me were soaking wet less than 5 minutes into my 45-50 min ride to work this morning, (GoreTex jacket doing the Biz) nothing could wipe the grin off my face, splashing through the puddles and controlling her through the mud.  Difficult not to laugh at the motorists, fuming away whilst dry in the massive tailbacks.

My clothes were dryish for the ride home, shoes still soaking wet mind.

Better now that it’s not freezing cold.

    My very excellent Topeak Joe

My very excellent Topeak Joe Blow Deluxe, 18ish years old, has apparently been overestimating the pressure by 10psi, only discovered when I purchased the awful Shimano Pro digital pressure gauge, confirmed when I replaced it with the great Topeak digital pressure gauge.  Difference between analogue and digital I guess, for me anyway.

You buy a new chain, you go

You buy a new chain, you go out and whenever you put down power it does the clunky thing.  You need a new cassette.

You fit that, you go out and whenever you put down power you get the clunky thing.  You need at least one new chainring.  Try another. Clunky?

You buy new chainrings.  And a chain checker.

Then it happens again and you tell yourself that you must use the chain checker much more.

And change the chain more too.
