Its interesting viewing the times http://www.fredwhittonchallenge.org.uk/Results.php

3rd and 4th home managed to lose 2 mins on every check point, kept a steady pace and the you look down a few the people who went out a little bit quick and suffered at the end

Then you scroll right down and see 4 guys who only made the 1st check point as those up top were finishing

I dont suppose you know how many non finishers there were Dave?

Yeah his girlfriend is due to give birth in September

From what i’ve seen online, it looks like Leopard with race tomorrow, but the stage will not count towards the overall and team Leopard-Trek will be allowed to cross the finish line at the front

This is awful. Does anyone actually know the particulars of this? I hear reports of a locked pedal, and a 25m fall?

RIP Wouter, my thoughts are with your family.

No fall of the height, if you mean like going over the side of the road?

He may well have slid 25m because of the speed they were going, watching it live i still could not be sure of what happened, but from seeing a picture of it and this is just in my opinion, it looks like he may have stuck the inside wall, but thats just because of his helmet, the way its deformed

But no-one will find out until Giro doctors or team release what happened

I hope and expect that they won’t ride tomorrow, it will be a neutralised stage with leopard trek going over the line together in front of the peleton….

If they do ride tomorrow, i very much doubt there will be a leopard trek rider in the race

I fully expect the whole team to be withdrawn

The way i see it, there are a
The way i see it, there are a few factors

The price of most metals have risen to their highest in a long time over the last couple of years

The UK have taxed the arse of everything thats being imported and then the 20% VAT now

Also, as with everything, the price does go up and increasing demand for cheaper end bikes will then increase the profit companies want to make off their higher end bikes

If i was Cav instead of
If i was Cav instead of waving my finger, i would have just given him a nudge off the bike, seen him out of the Giro

It was a blatant block, any other race he gets demoted, but he’s Italian in a race in Italy, never going to happen, if it had been the other way round, Cav would have been done

I was unaware the 2010 came
I was unaware the 2010 came with Tiagra and not Sora, if thats the case, well worth checking out

Alot of bike shops will still have 2010 models of various bikes sitting about which are well worth looking at because they represent better value

I tend to upgrade every couple of years and normally towards the end of the year because shops are reducing prices to make room for the next years stock
