    Just watching it live on Eurosport

    Wouter Weylandt of Leopard Trek in a really bad crash, there are reporting that they are continuing heart massage after 15 mins and he’s still in the same place he fell

    Not sounding good at all, fingers crossed, but sounding bad 🙁

    No fall of the height, if you mean like going over the side of the road?

    He may well have slid 25m because of the speed they were going, watching it live i still could not be sure of what happened, but from seeing a picture of it and this is just in my opinion, it looks like he may have stuck the inside wall, but thats just because of his helmet, the way its deformed

    But no-one will find out until Giro doctors or team release what happened

    In stage 3 of the Giro
    In stage 3 of the Giro d’Italia Wouter crashed coming down the Passo del Bocco suffering an injury. It is reported that cardiac massage was carried out for around 25 minutes, and that he was given adrenaline and atropine. He was airlifted off the descent approximately 25 minutes after his fall. Latest news report that he died due to the injuries.
