    Fatty, the problem the comes
Fatty, the problem the comes with having it the other way round, HOW are you going to afford them?

At the moment, even if you pick the least value star riders for 5 of them, thats going to be 69.7 of your budget and if you hit the top end your 171.9

I’m on the fence with the new star set up, I like that its a bit flexible, BUT with the limit still 2 riders per team, its going to be even harder to pick for the likes of the TdF, when you have Gilbert, Hushovd and Evans in the same team, where as last season, i could have them all

    Hushovd – PC
    Gilbert AR
    Evans – GC

Then factor in (based on last years prices) that i would like Andy Schleck, Evans, Contador and Wiggo as my stars for the TdF, thats 141.1 giving me 8.9 to play with, going on the TDU this year, the cheapest DS is 2.5

So its not going to be possible and thats just with 4 star riders, so making it 5, your going to have to have a stupid budget to start with, making it easier for other races outside of the grand tour’s to have all the top riders.

I think the way it is at the moment, is a balance between the strict categories last year and something where you could pick riders from categories, but with some flexibility

    I know you’ve always been
I know you’ve always been able to sort it by form, but having an all be it small F beside there name makes it easier to spot, Its not really a factor towards the start of a race but as we get into the final week of a grand tour, people who don’t research will just pick the guys who have a D and F beside there name, knowing they will get some safe points

Because as a grand tour goes on, the “form” riders are going to be those highest up in the GC, Points and Mountains, because in this game they are scoring points every day

    Yeah its a strange
    Yeah its a strange situation.

I was lucky, i did it when i was 17, so coming up 11 years ago, when i was playing semi-pro football, so had loads of support to get me back playing again.

But i went from no weight, to a little with a crutch, to a little more with a walking stick and then normal walking again, all the time having physio and doing lots of session’s in a pool to get the muscle’s back to full strength.

But without causing offence to the other posters here, i wouldn’t take any advice as to what should or shouldn’t be done until you’ve had a session with your physio, because at the end of the day, they are there for things like this and only you know your body and they can help with whats right and wrong.

Its easy for me to say, go get some time in the pool, do this and that, dont do this and avoid that, but i don’t know what condition your leg is in, how it has healed or any under lying problems.

Leave that to the guys qualified to do it and just take it easy in the mean time

So good you had to post it
So good you had to post it four times 👿

A mobile app would be great, but its alot of hassle to develop one, have done a few in my time, but to cover both IoS and Android is a nightmare

The fantasy site is loading just find on my tablet, not so much on my phone

Depending on how the game is coded, it could be easy or impossible to make an app for it, I’ll have a look at it thought 👿

Had Van Hoff from the start,
Had Van Hoff from the start, but only gave me 10 points

Took him out for Kohler yesterday

The only reason i put Clark in because he might fancy some sprint and climbing points, but i dont even know the course if there are any climbing points?

So covered that with Dennis, who is 5th in GC and top of the climbers 😀

    Sorry, Charlie, i have been
Sorry, Charlie, i have been through the same having broken my fibula while playing football.

It was a problem i can up against aswell, unless your walking with an aid (crutch, stick or something like that) then your never going to be able to only put a percentage of weight down your leg, if you try this, your going to learn to walk with a limp/dragging your leg.

This is why i suggested trying to walk in a swimming pool. because your not putting weight through it as much and your also getting resistance against your leg, which will help to strengthen your muscle’s in the process

Dave can join if he wants, he has the number to ALL leagues and can prob accept himself 👿

It is a long season, as you showed today, 200 points can be had in one stage, so only a stage/classic behind you

    We’ll see who’s laughing on the 23rd Oct 😉 :B

To be honest, i don’t have a clue either, i don’t even know who has what jersey and who is leading the race??

I’ve just been playing guess work and not even looking at the stages as i just dont have the time, only 179 behind you though 😀

Ok, just made a couple of changes after saying NO i wouldn’t

    they went like this

Oscar Freire in for Heinrich Haussler
Rohan Dennis in for Cameron Meyer
Martin Kohler in for Steele von Hoff

SO if you have Haussler, Meyer or Van Hoff, prepare for a good score 👿

All we need is a resistance
All we need is a resistance pool and some nice letter heads/business cards, Do it a little cheaper than the normal £30 odd an hour 😕

Here is a list of what NHS pay £21,176 – £27,534 (band 5). This can rise to £25,472 – £34,189 for specialist physiotherapists (band 6) and £30,460 – £40,157 for advanced physiotherapists (band 7).

So private you’ve got to be looking at 50k anyways

I’ll haul in my mate who’s just become a qualified dietitian with a BSc in dietetics

If only it were that easy :”(

    I’d also recommend staying
I’d also recommend staying off the bike, whether that be on the road or the trainer, DONT rush things

Wait for the physio who know whats right and wrong, not the doctors who just fix it when its wrong

Also like Raleigh, i would get yourself swimming, If your still in pain, try walking about the pool rather than swimming, walking in the pool gives alot of resistance and helps to strengthen your leg
