    I’ve been complaining about
I’ve been complaining about the lack of coverage of Oman since the start, yes i got a decent score yesterday, but that still doesn’t make up for the fact that there is another race on, WITH TV coverage that should have been put in and not Oman

Oman was NEVER scheduled to have ANY live coverage at all

The reason i got a decent score yesterday, along with most others is because i stuck with who i know, I cant see anyone to see if they look good for a break tomorrow because there is no coverage until the next stage is finished

Yeah there is a long way to
Yeah there is a long way to go, but its now spoiling my enjoyment of cycling, I can understand taking in Qatar, but what was the point in Oman, NO TV coverage, having to rely on twitter for updates from one person out there, not seeing the previous stage until the deadline for the next transfers were done, all a bit pointless

Last year this game enhanced my viewing of the races because it was a bit like the horses, you cheer on your guys, cant do that with Oman

I’m off to commit suicide now X( I got 3rd, but still not good, thinking i’m gonna give up the game this year, doing my nut in already and with unreliable coverage and reports/profiles, i give up, its not even fun like it was last year with prizes for every race, takes the fun element away

    I may have seriously messed
I may have seriously messed up BIG style today, i thought the sprinters would sit back and take it easy up the larger of the 3 climbs today, seems i was wrong, bunch sprint coming up and i got rid of ALL my sprinters in readyness for tomorrow where they will be of no use.

The reason i switched 4, so that i can have 4 transfers after tomorrows stage to get them back in, might work, might not, as long as i dont drop to far off

My aim for this season is to win my region, anything else is a bonus 😀

    Just Eurosport as they have
Just Eurosport as they have the rights

Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport has announced a four-year Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport has announced a four-year extension for the rights to cycling’s Giro d’Italia in a deal with event-owner RCS and Rai Trade, the event’s media rights distributor.

The deal, which now runs from 2009 to 2012, covers the television and internet rights of the Giro d’Italia and three other major Italian cycling races: Milan San-Remo, the Giro di Lombardia and Tirreno-Adriatico.

Chairman of Eurosport Group Laurent-Eric Le Lay said: “We are delighted to renew our contract for the broadcast of the Giro and the other Italian races. The Giro d’Italia is definitely one of the biggest sporting events of the year and has been a premium property on Eurosport since 1998. We are proud that this long term commitment has contributed to the continuous growth of Giro d’Italia in Europe and to the development of its notoriety in Asia and in the Pacific.”

CEO of Rai Trade Carlo Nardello added: “We are delighted about the renewal of the agreement with Eurosport, which guarantees Italian cycling continued coverage in Europe and Asia. Up to 250 million viewers in more than 140 countries followed the Giro in 2008.”

Rights include live and delayed coverage of the Giro d’Italia across 59 European countries, live and delayed coverage of the other three races on Eurosport and Eurosport 2 and live and delayed coverage of all races on Eurosport Asia/Pacific. Eurosport will also have coverage across its websites.

Also, i think 350m in 10km is quite steep for sprinters and also the 140m in 5km

He’s more of a classics rider
He’s more of a classics rider than a grand tour winner, thats a given. But unless he can get a group around him to help with winning classics and the odd shorter race, like the Algarve, then he’ll get nowt, he’ll have to do it all on his own.

Looking at the team structure, Sky have their main guys this season, Cav and Wiggo and have set out their plans for them, building teams around them.

Wiggo does not live up to all the hype in my opinion, yes he’s a good rider, but without a stronger team, he’s not going to win a grand tour this year, because of the split thats going to happen with Cav needing a couple of lead out men and Eisel to get him through the mountains.

So back on to EBH, a good rider with great potential but might never get the chance in his current team.

Well my thinking is, get rid
Well my thinking is, get rid of my 4 sprinters, most likely get rid of a DS tomorrow, leaving me with 3 transfers for final stage, get 3 sprinters in, with 1 climber left who will be leading GC and or Points so some safe points on the last stage :B
