I guess they have known about
I guess they have known about it for a while.

What time do you set off?

Because its not a race and a charity ride. I would be tempted to stick with them and just rip them to shreds with abuse about not getting training miles in and other encouragements like that.

After all, its only 100k, if you set off at 9am, still gives you 7 hours

Nice one, I’m still looking to do more on the trike, but nothing near me, I had to travel the length of the country for my first event. Hopefully got something lined up at the end of the month though.

You should have just asked your brother for a wheel and left him behind….PRO 👿

Ok, seen as they are just
Ok, seen as they are just brakes, you are cheaper to just replace them both.

Looking at your bike, for me, It HAS to be black levers.

    So that in mind.

    Budget but still good

Slightly more expensive, but VERY nice

You can also get the compact version of the Cane’s, so they don’t stick out as much as your current ones :B

In an ideal world then. With you FSA chainset, I’d have a SRAM Cassette, KMC chain and Ultegra shifters, brakes and derailleurs 😀

Hello. Glad you had a good
Hello. Glad you had a good time with the tarmac….. 😕

Sounds like a simple enough fix. BUT what kind of brakes do you have?

Are the purely brakes? Do you also act as shifters?

    Drop bar, flat bar……

Got a picture, that might help us all to suggest things for you, but if the clamp has striped the threads where it was screwed in. Its going to mean a new set is needed. Otherwise its just a case of replacing the clamp

    Because of the fruit peel
Because of the fruit peel that sits inside the mixture, making the framework a stronger material to build frames with

    Just from what you are
Just from what you are saying.

    I will make some suggestion’s

SRAM Cassette, give me the number of gears you have and the spread you would like, i’ll find you one. Because for instance, I KNOW there is a 10 speed that goes 11/12 – 36 I saw it yesterday.

Chains, KMC every time, they make SRAM and Shimano chains for them.

Chainset, Depending on if its compact, double or triple and the number of teeth, I can make a suggestion on that.

Then its a case of getting derailleurs to match, they should be the last thing on your list to find.

Unless you buy a full groupset (Which is easier, but more expensive)

Sorry chaps but the answer here is clearly carbon fibre!

This is correct, but before you try and build with carbon, you need to practice Jelly in a jelly mould 😉

OK, I will list from top
OK, I will list from top components to bottom for the three main brands.

I won’t even factor in that Ultegra brakes are the best Shimano brakes, but they are not the highest model….

    Dura Ace
    Ultegra (Di2)
    Ultegra
    105
    Tiagra
    Sora
    2300

    SRAM:

    SRAM RED
    SRAM Force
    SRAM Rival
    SRAM Apex

    Campagnolo:

    Super Record (EPS)
    Super Record
    Record (EPS)
    Record
    Chorus
    Athena (EPS)
    Athena
    Centaur
    Veloce

I had 6 transfers and went on
I had 6 transfers and went on a gut instinct of who would be in the break today, that failed as the 3 guys I left out of the 9 I had picked are in the break…..

Kept my sprinters for tomorrow though 😉

What time is it RIGHT NOW in
What time is it RIGHT NOW in Sydney? To save me looking up and then I can figure times out 😉

But I can’t see things being changed, because it needs to end before the stage starts, so that people aren’t holding off to see who’s in the break

    When its passing the other
When its passing the other direction, just look down at the road, as long as you don’t stare, you are fine.

If you come upon on, follow it, don’t pass.

If one come’s upon you, get out of the way and let them pass.

If you are in the coffin, don’t worry to much about it.

My hero, Gkam! 🙂 I learned how to interact on the forum from him. I owe him my ‘Irritability’ factor! 🙂 God knows how he annoyed the crap out of me last year! 🙂 If asked, I would would accept the Gkam Memorial Award for Most Irritating Poster for 2013! 🙂

Erm, thank you. I think I’ve got a few people interacting on the forum. When I used to raise points. It was a fairly new game and things were still getting worked out.

This is going back to 2011 and earlier.

The game is fairly settled now and I am also part of the team running it. So I can’t have been that irritating 😉

Quite a number of my suggestions and comments lead to things happening, some people would improve on my original thought and Dave would then put his touch on it and enacting it into the game.

One other reason I continued to post “provocative” thoughts and statements back then was to actually get people onto the forum and chatting, it was quite a dead place back then, there were only a few of us, maybe 10 who would be using this part of the site.

Now I’m not being big headed, but I feel that the forum has steadily grown over that time and a small part of that might be down to me :B :B

So carry on making comments and suggestions, one day you might hit something that will work. But don’t expect the warm loving friendly comments that normally come with the forum when you start new threads day in day out with grumbles 😉

That’s my “beef” with you, not really a beef as such, but do you need to keep starting new threads?? Try and keep it contained to one 😀 :B
