Raleigh have revamped their Stow-E-Way folding e-bike, which they say “focuses on practicality but doesn’t scrimp on the finer details”.

Review: Emu Mini

The 20kg bike folds down to 88cm x 800cm x 44cm, with a 45NM rear wheel motor on the 20 inch wheel and Shimano Altus 8 speed gearing. The frame is 6061 aluminium and folds just beyond the middle of the main tube, and with mudguards, a kickstand and a rear pannier rack it’s ready to whip around the city and tackle your commute with plenty of luggage carrying capability.

The inbuilt TranzX system has four levels of assistance, with handle-mounted power controls placed close to the grips and a 260wh battery providing a range of up to 50km. There are also reflective strips around the chunky Kenda K841 tyres to provide some extra visibility.

The Stow-E-Way is available now via Raleigh’s website and numerous UK distributors, at £1,275 for both the black and white versions. find out more here
