US innovators F3 Cycling are crowdfunding on Kickstarter with a unique new take on the bike phone mount. Attaching to your stem cap, the mount then sits on your stem and uses powerful magnets to hold your phone in place, vertically or horizontal.

Described as the “bike phone mount to end all bike phone mounts” by F3 Cycling, they claim it can be stuck on your bike in under a minute and angled and adjusted to your preference. The design makes it universal, with four neodymium magnets creating a super-strong docking solution for your phone, with just a twist and lift required to remove. They do recommend that the case plate attaches best to plastic or metal phone cases rather than silicone or soft touch versions.
The magnetic technology appears on F3 Cycling’s out-front mount solution, the Transform Form Mount, and they also produce a Garmin and Wahoo-compatible GPS mount claimed to fit almost any four bolt stem.
You can get a heavily discount Stem Cap Mount by backing F3 Cycling on Kickstarter, where you can reserve yourself one for $40 with a Super Earlybird discount. Check out F3 Cycling’s website for more info.

Nice enough, but I found I
Nice enough, but I found I really just wanted to see more of the very neat Spot Ajax it’s featured on in the first video. Gates carbon / Alfine 8-speed / disc brakes – and just $1,700. Perfect commuter.

Hey Simon, it’s Mike from F3 here and I totally agree. That’s my bike and I couldn’t think of a better bike to showcase our new mount. Really looks great on there.
