Join Rapha's Peak District women's ride

60km group ride is in preparation for this summer's Rapha Women's 100 challenge...

Rapha are inviting female cyclists to join them in Chesterfield on Sunday 12 May for a ride in preparation for this summer’s Women’s 100 – Rapha's challenge to women around the world to cycle 100km on 7 July.

The Chesterfield ride distance is 60km (37.5 miles). There will be two groups, one riding at about 26kph (16.25mph) and the other at about 20kph (12.5mph).

The ride starts and finishes at Nonna’s Italian Restaurant, Chesterfield, at the edge of the Peak District National Park. The route will take in spectacular scenery and the terrain will be testing with a few challenging climbs. The Rapha H-Van will appear en route as a feed stop, and there will be post-ride food at Nonna’s.

Rapha say, “This ride is part of Cyclo Femme’s 'We Ride Together' celebration of women in cycling, a global initiative to empower women through cycling. If you can’t join our ride, inspire others to ride and set-up your own on the 12th: www.cyclofemme.com.”

Go to Rapha’s website for more info on the ride and to register.
