Fizik Versus saddles get carbon braided rails

Carbon braided tech trickles down to new Arione, Antares and Aliante Versus saddles

Fizik has rolled out the carbon braided rails from their top-end saddles to their Versus range, including the Arione, Antares and Aliante, to make them lighter with prices starting from £149.99.

Sharing the same general shape as the regular Arione, Antares and Aliante, the Versus models feature a pressure relieving central channel. Until recently you had to have titanium rails with this design, but now you can get the same stiff and light carbon braided rails found on the top-end models on the Versus range.

That change brings the weight of the Arione Versus Braided down from 239g to 209g. The price is £149.99 and it’s available in two colours, red/white or white/black, and both have a nylon carbon reinforced shell.

The Antares Versus Braided now weighs 179g (down from 209g) and costs £159.99 and is available in the same two colourways as the Arione.

Lastly, the Aliante Versus Braided drops from 259g to 219g and costs £149.99. It too is sold in two colours, all black or red/white.

They're available now from your nearest Fizik stockist www.fizik.it
