Storck launch winter clothing + UK website

Full range of winter and summer clothing now available online

Storck Cycling Gear have launched their winter clothing line-up along with a UK website at www.storckcyclinggear.co.uk after months of planning and design. The whole range of summer and winter bike clothing is available in plenty of time for Christmas.

We reported from Eurobike back in September that German bike brand Storck was entering the clothing market. We brought a couple of pieces of the new clothing back home with us and they’ve performed very well. The only reason we haven’t shared our reviews with you yet is that we have shorts and a short sleeve jersey and they’re not exactly appropriate for the winter weather.

They’re certainly very high quality, though, and well thought out. Storck give the Pro bib shorts seat pads of different sizes and densities depending on the size you take on the basis that larger riders weigh more.

The Pro Jersey is super-stretchy and very well ventilated and the styling is pretty subtle -– you don’t need to be riding a Storck to wear the clothing.

We have some of Storck’s winter clothing on the way now. The Pro winter bib tights (£199) come with double-layered areas plus windproof/water repellent elements, so we’ll be interested to see how they perform in the weather we’re enduring right now. We’ve also got the Pro long sleeve jersey (£149) and Windbreaker jacket (£99) coming in for review too.

The range also includes base layers, arm and leg warmers, gloves (short and long finger), socks, shoe covers… Storck are planning to have dealers in the UK although you can order direct from the website. Orders are sent by recorded delivery and you can get next-day courier delivery (order before 2pm), so if you’re after ideas for Christmas presents or you just fancy some new kit, head over to www.storckcyclinggear.co.uk and check out the full range.
