The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 takes place on Sunday July 29. If you’ve got a place, Lyme Disease Action would like to invite you to raise money for them – and if you haven’t got a place, they may be able to help as they have a few charity places left.
LDA works towards the prevention and treatment of Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases. The charity relies on donations to improve the situation for those with Lyme disease and those who are in danger of contracting it.
LDA does not insist on a guaranteed minimum of sponsorship pledges, but being entirely dependent on volunteers and donations, asks potential entrants to remember it costs LDA about £300 to provide a place.
As LDA has no paid employees all money raised will go directly to funding the aims of the charity.
Anyone who wants to take part can contact LDA at fundraising@lymediseaseaction.org.uk and the charity will help set up a fundraising page to accept donations.
