British Cycling has unveiled the kit made by Czech firm Kalas that the Great Britain Cycling Team will be sporting during 2017.
Kalas was announced as the replacement for longstanding supplier Adidas last November. The four-year deal includes racing kit and off-bike wear.

Great Britain Cycling Team head coach Ian Dyer said: “We are delighted to be working with Kalas. From the start of our process to recruit a new clothing supplier, Kalas demonstrated a detailed understanding of the performance demands of such a technical partnership.
“Having a kit supplier with their in-depth knowledge and high level of service is invaluable to the Great Britain Cycling Team.”

The kit will be worn by riders in all disciplines, and is based on Kalas’s Razor jersey. Replica items will be available shortly through the Kalas website.
Jakub Věncek, director and co-owner of Kalas, added: “Working with British Cycling and the Great Britain Cycling Team has opened up some exciting opportunities for Kalas to demonstrate our capabilities.
“For over 25 years we’ve been developing premium cycling kit,” he added. “We have made these new elements and technologies, introduced in to the 2017 kit design, available for fans of the team to experience during their rides and races.”

They could do with talking to the Danes about how to design kit.
Best national team jesrsey
Best national team jesrsey has to be the Belgian kit. Looks great when it’s first across the line too.
The adidas kit was hit and
The adidas kit was hit and miss from year to year but this is a pretty lazy effort, there is neither real originality or a bit of back to basics retro chic.

Red – white – and a funny kind of blue.
As sponsors have to be there
As sponsors have to be there it could be worse. Consider the total embarrassment that the last two Olympic kit was. 2011 was good.
The British national jersey
The British national jersey is also great – (ref.Belgium) but its not a team jersey.
All very subjective -I actually quite liked the last two olympic efforts – I hope they have another go before a major championships as this latest effort looks awful to me – not sure you can even call it designed!
It appears in the photo that the blue of the kit does not match with the hat either.
Like the red stripe at the bottom of the shorts, would look better (and be easier to spot in a bunch race) if it went all the way round.
Have to see how it looks in
Have to see how it looks in action – not a complete disaster, but average at best.
I liked the 2012 kit.
Red, white and blue? Check
Red, white and blue? Check
Really about promoting the interests of banks? Check
It is clear that there has been a mix-up, and this is actually the uniform that Theresa May and her team will wear while conducting Brexit negotiations. No wonder Ivan Rogers quit. If anything could make two years feel like ten it would be unedifying sight of Boris Johnson squeezed into a lycra skinsuit day in day out.
I think someone’s made a
I think someone’s made a terible mistake:
There’s a part of the fabric which doesn’t have the letters H S B C printed in it!!!
I just hope that they don’t
I just hope that they don’t have as many issues with the zips as we have on our Kalas made club kit!
How refreshing – finally a
How refreshing – finally a bank minimizing interest and putting a shirt on your back.
Surely they could have found
Surely they could have found a British kit manufacturer that is up to the job???
