The last of the summer #mycyclingweekend fun

Yesterday was gloriously sunny, today is (largely) rainy. Don't say we didn't warn you!...

While a big part of us doesn't want to commit to the notion that the summer is behind us, Monday's frankly foul conditions have left us looking ahead in trepidation. As consolation prize, Cycle Surgery has a £23 CO2 pump for one of you.

It's not all bad, of course, we've got the memories of a great summer as well as the memories of a delightfully - for the most part - bright #mycyclingweekend just gone.

Despite our fears about the weather to come, most of us here at road.cc went out and enjoyed the conditions, and loads of you sent in sunny photos of yourselves enjoying the late summer sunshine too.

We do feel sorry for Charlotte Quinn though.

Doctor_bobb over in Ticino, Switzerland spent his #mycyclingweekend doing what we'll be doing for the coming weeks - riding in leg warmers and waterproofs - but the blue skies and stunning scenery (and the fact that he remembered to include the #CycleSurgery hashtag) put the doctor in lead position to win this week's #mycyclingweekend comp. And win it he did.

Elsewhere the photos were just as pretty and a bit more summery. Here are some more of our favourites.

Remember, it's never too late to get involved in the #mycyclingweekend fun. We have a constant stream of your images on the right hand side of select pages on road.cc and you'll be able to see your photo there by simply uploading your riding shots to Twitter or Instagram and including both the #CycleSurgery and #mycyclingweekend hashtags.
