Police in Australia’s Northern Territory were evaded by a drunk, naked cyclist on Monday night.
“It would appear the usual suspects have not eased up on the festivities,” wrote Northern Territory Police Superintendent Louise Jorgensen on Facebook following a series of incidents which also included a 33-year-old taxi driver “doing circle work and burnouts in his taxi” – so doughnuts, basically.

Jorgensen said a member of the public had tipped them off about the nude cyclist, who had been spotted on a main road in the Darwin suburb of Ludmilla.
“Around 10pm reports were received of a naked, intoxicated male riding a pushbike along Bagot Road towards the overpass,” said Jorgensen. “What could go wrong?” she added.
Despite a police patrol in the area, he could not be found.
