Move over, Danny MacAskill – there’s competition on the block, and it’s showcased in this charming stop-motion animation video that shows Playmobil figures pulling off some top stunts.
The film is the work of Karim Rejeb, who uses the small plastic figures in films that see them undertake a variety of extreme sports – in this one, for example, they’re on the piste snowboarding and showing off their freestyle skiing skills.
You can find more of Karim’s animations on his website.
It’s not the first time Playmobil figures have been used to depict cycling scenes – until the magazine’s revamp a few years back, Anthony Pope’s Plastic Peloton feature was one of the first things readers of Procycling turned to whenever a new issue came out.
